The HGL series load Isolating switch offers a comprehensive range of 18 standardized models, with current ratings from 63A to 4000A. Built on a modular design concept, the core product line includes both 3-pole and 4-pole configurations (3-pole + a switchable neutral pole). This design is engineered for making, breaking, and providing reliable electrical isolation in circuits.

These switches are rated for a maximum operating voltage of 1000V AC at 50Hz or 440V DC. A key functional distinction is that models rated above 1000A are designed and certified for electrical isolation purposes only, not for breaking load currents. All HGL switches are intended for use in infrequent switching operations.

A primary safety feature is the clearly visible marking window on the front of the device. This window provides an unambiguous, direct indication of the contacts' status (ON or OFF), ensuring operational safety for personnel by confirming the circuit's condition.
